Fun Lesson Activity about The Horse Head
For this activity, take the children outside and let them run around and pretend to be galloping horses in the wild. Every couple of minutes, gather them all around and talk about horses. The first time, you can talk about how horses like to run around a lot and that they mostly eat grass, leaves, fruits, and vegetables. The second time you call them over, you can talk about the different names of horses, such as male horses are stallions while females are called mares. You can do this for as many sessions as you want. When you’re all done, you can give them apple slices and baby carrots as a snack like real horses would eat.
