Fun Lesson Activity about The Crab
For this activity, buy some craft sand from the crafts store and have each student bring in a small cardboard box, preferably a shoe box with no holes in it. Give each student some paint and brushes so they can paint the inside of the box blue for the ocean. You can also give them glitter to make the water reflective if they want. Set them off to the side for a while to dry. Now, give each of them some red play dough to shape into a crab. Have them make sure that each crab has two pinchers at the front and four legs on each side of its body, totally eight legs. Once all of the paint has dried, put a little bit of craft sand in each box and then have them set their crabs in their new homes.
