Fun Lesson Activity about The Baiji
This trivia game is a great and fun way for the kids to work together and learn a few fun facts about baijis, or Chinese river dolphins. First, set up the trivia game. Write several questions on cards and the answers to them on the back of the cards. For example, “What do baijis like to eat?” Or “Give me your best impression of a sound a baiji makes.” Then, split all of the children into three or four teams. Give each team one small whiteboard and a dry erase marker to write with. Ask a question and have the children on each team work together to come up with an answer. Tell them to write the answer on their whiteboard. If the team gets it right, then they get a point. Once the game is over, congratulate both teams, and ask the children what the favorite thing they learned was.
