Fun Lesson Activity about The Snake
Have each of the students line up for red light green light in an open area. You can choose to do it indoors or outdoors. The person that is saying the colors will be the mouse who is trying to escape from the snakes chasing it! The first snake to reach the mouse will then become the mouse. If the same person is the mouse twice, you can rotate them until everyone has been the mouse. If you want to keep things completely fair, you can rotate them and go in alphabetical order instead. If you’re doing it indoors or in a relatively clean, grassy area, you can also tell the snakes to get on the ground and slither towards the mouse for an added bit of fun and challenge.
