Fun Lesson Activity about The Dove
For this activity, have the students go outside to collect leaves, grass, and twine from the ground. Have them bring it all in and glue all of it together to make a nest for their dove. They can add glitter, feathers, paper, and whatever else you have on hand to decorate. The nests may take some time to dry and become secure, so while you’re giving them time to do that, give them all some cotton balls to glue together and some googley eyes to attach to the head. The cotton balls will be their doves. Glue the doves into their nests and leave them for a while to let them dry completely.
