Fun Lesson Activity about The Owl
For this activity, pick a couple of students to be owls and have most of them be mice. The mice will hide from the owls while the owls try to find them for a meal. Both the owls and the mice have to be as quiet as possible. If the owl hears the mice, they’ll be found easily. If the owls are too loud, they won’t be able to hear the mice. Label one place in the area as the mouse hole where the mice will be safe from the owls. To make it more interesting, place laminated pieces of paper with a print out of cheese around the area. The mice have to collect all of the cheese without getting caught, so they can’t stay in the mouse hole.
