Fun Lesson Activity about The Cat
For this activity, you can either draw or print a cat on a large piece of paper, but without its tail. Cut out a long strip of paper to be the tail and attach it to a pin or a piece of tape, if it would be safer. Have each of the kids stand up and use a cloth to cover their eyes. Spin them around a couple times and tell them to pin the tail on the cat. After each time the kid pins the tail to the cat, have them read out a fact about cats, such as “Cats can rotate to land on their feet because of their bone structure.” You’ll have to tailor the facts to the kids reading level depending on the class, but it will be fun for everyone no matter what!
