Fun Lesson Activity about The Wolverine
The wolverine looks like a small bear, but is actually a member of the weasel family. These animals live in the Northern parts of North America, Europe, and Asia. While they will eat plants and berries during the summer, their diet consists of mainly meat. They usually prey on smaller mammals but have been known to try and attack larger ones, such as caribou. Wolverines also use their sharp claws for hunting. Have students create their own set of claws. They must cut pieces of construction paper into small triangles that are about the length of their fingers. Create six of these and have students hold them between their fingers.
