Fun Lesson Activity about The Weasel

This craft is great for kids to get creative while learning a few facts about weasels. First, to make a weasel, gather enough empty toilet paper rolls for each child to have his or her own. Give each child a roll, construction paper, scissors, and markers. Have them draw and cut out a weasel’s head, arms, and legs from the construction paper. Tell them to glue or tape them onto the toilet paper roll, which will be the weasel’s body. Then, let them color their weasel. After all of the children have finished this task, give them each a sheet of white construction paper, and ask them to draw a source of food for their weasel and a predator of weasels. Food can include rabbits, mice, and squirrels. Predators of weasels include snakes, dogs, cats, and owls. Once they all finish, ask the children, one at a time, to share their weasel, prey, and predator with everyone.
