Fun Lesson Activity about The Tiger Shark
This activity is a fun way for kids to learn about tiger sharks. First, on the corner of a sheet of paper, write a length of a tiger shark. For example, the length could be ten feet, twelve and a half feet, or fourteen feet. Write a different length on each sheet of paper. Make enough for each child to have his or her own. Also, on each paper, write either adult or baby and a weight of a tiger shark. Then, give all of the children a sheet of paper and markers. Show them pictures of tiger sharks and point out the differences between adult and baby tiger sharks, which is that the young have black stripes like a tiger. Next, ask each child to draw and color a tiger shark on their paper. If they have a young tiger shark, make sure that they draw black stripes on their shark. Once each child has finished, have them share their shark and the facts that were written on their paper about their shark with all of the other children.
