Fun Lesson Activity about The Shrimp
This trivia game is a great and fun way for the kids to learn about shrimp. First, set up the trivia game. Write several questions on cards and the answers to them on the back of the cards. For example, “Do shrimp have a backbone?” Or “Name one thing that shrimp eat.” Then, set a buzzer or a bell on a table. Divide all of the children into two teams. Have one child from each team at a time come up to the table to answer a question. If the child wants to answer, he or she should hit the buzzer or ring the bell. If he answers right, then his team gets the point. If he answers wrong, then the other child gets a chance to answer. If he gets it right, then his team gets the point. Otherwise, no points are given. Once the game is over, congratulate both teams, and ask the children what the favorite thing they learned was.
