Fun Lesson Activity about The Sheep
Objective: This lesson is for younger students who are learning their numbers.
Materials: You will need one drawing of a sheep for each student.
Instructions: Hand out the drawings of the sheep and ask the students if they have ever been sent to their bed at night but not been able to feel asleep. Then explain that it is very common for people to count sheep at night to try and help themselves fall asleep. Have the students color their sheep, give a name to their sheep, and put a number on the side of the sheep. Once they are finished have each student stand up and introduce their sheep. Then instruct the students to order themselves in the following manners: 1. From lowest number to highest number 2. From highest number to lowest number 3. In two groups – even numbers and odd numbers (more advanced)
