Fun Lesson Activity about The Pronghorn
Pronghorn live in the Western plains of North America. They are the fastest animal in North America and can easily outrun a predator. They travel in large groups while grazing and will eat grass or sagebrush. Both male and female pronghorn have backward curving horns for which they are named after. Since Pronghorn live in the grasslands have the kids gather grass and leaves from outside. Use a large piece of packing tape and have students place the grass and leaves they found how they would like them. Then layer on another piece of tape over this. You have now created your own nature themed bookmark.
