Fun Lesson Activity about The Ibex

This hands on activity will teach kids about ibexes in a fun way. Demonstrate the facts you teach the children in the best way you can. For example, ibexes are also known as wild goats. Present pictures of goats and ibexes to the children so they can visualize what they look like. Another example is that ibexes can jump high. Ask a child to volunteer to jump as high as he or she can. Additionally, print out and give each child a black and white map, and ask them to color in Europe, Asia, and North Africa. This represents where ibexes live. Also, all of the kids could be taken outside for a demonstration. Tell the children that ibexes are herbivores, and ask them to go find something that an ibex may eat. Then, have each child, one at a time, share with everyone what kind of food they found for an ibex.
