Fun Lesson Activity about The Goose
To start this game about geese, first, take all of the children outside. Explain to them how geese make nests out of a variety of things that they find outside, such as grass, twigs, and feathers. Then, tell them to gather materials and build their own nest as a goose would. Also, explain how geese often build their nests near water, such as lakes or rivers. Once the children finish this task, tell them about the different things geese eat, such as nuts, grass, seeds, and berries. Then, tell them to walk around and gather these types of food. They can set the food next to their nest. After they finish this, ask them to make a “V” formation as a group. Explain to them that this is how geese fly together in the sky. Also, share a few additional facts about geese with the kids, such as if one of the members of the flock get hurt, the rest of them will stay with it, rather than leaving it behind.
