Fun Lesson Activity about The Eel
This interactive activity is a fun way for the kids to learn about eels. To set up the game, first, write several facts about eels on cards. Write one fact per card. For example, “There are freshwater eels and saltwater eels.” Or “Some eels can grow up to thirteen feet long.” The, print out or draw pictures that correspond to each fact. For example, if the fact was, “Eels like to live in caves or rocks,” a picture of a cave could be printed. Next, give each child a fact card. Hang the pictures on the wall, and ask each child to read his or her fact card and match it to the right picture on the wall. After all of the children have correctly matched their fact to the picture on the wall, have them, on at a time, read their fact out loud to all of the other children.
