Fun Lesson Activity about The Deer Head
Objective: This is an exercise to have students practice their multiplication.
Materials: Papers with a Deer head without antlers.
Instructions: Pass out to the student’s pictures of the deer head without antlers. Tell the students that they need to draw any number of antlers between 1 and 10 on the left side and any number of antlers between 1 and 10 on the right side. Have them draw the antlers and then write the number for how many on each side at the top of the page in big letters. Then have the students put a big X between the two numbers that they have written. You now have a bunch of deer antler multiplication cards for the students to practice their times tables. Use the pictures to do an around the world race where each student faces off against another student and whoever answers correctly first moves on to the next student.
