Fun Lesson Activity about The Boxer Dog
This activity is a great way for the kids to learn a few facts about boxer dogs. First, give each child a white, black, and brown sheet of construction paper and glue. Show them pictures of what boxer dogs look like, and then, tell them to draw their own boxer dog on the white sheet of construction paper. Let them cut out pieces from the black and brown construction paper and glue it onto the body of their boxer dog. Once all of the children have finished creating their boxer dog, let them walk around the room and look at the other boxer dogs that were created. Then, share a few basic facts with boxer dogs with the children. For example, “A boxer dog has a record in the Guinness World Record Book for the longest tongue in the world.” This fact could be demonstrated by showing the children how long the boxer’s dog tongue was, which was seventeen inches long.
