Fun Lesson Activity about The Black Mamba
This is a great activity to entertain kids with a fun craft while also teaching them a little bit about black mambas. First, cut out long strips of construction paper. They can be different sizes, but make sure that some of them are several feet long to represent how long some black mambas can grow. Make enough for each child. Next, give everyone a strip of paper and a sheet of construction paper. Show the kids how to fold their strip of paper accordion style. This will be the body of the snake. Then, tell the children to draw and cut out the snake’s face and glue it on the body. Once they are done, share a few facts about black mambas, such as they are one of the most deadliest snakes, and the color of black mamba snakes is not necessarily black, but it depends on where they live.
