Time for some trivia about aye- ayes! Research easy and fun facts about aye- ayes for children. Based on the facts, write questions along with their answers on cards. For example, “Is an aye- aye’s tail bushy and big or thin and short?” or “Are aye- ayes more active at night or during the day?” Make sure you add in some fun challenges, such as “Show me your best imitation of an aye- aye.” You will be the host of the trivia game show. Divide the children into two teams. Place a buzzer or bell on a small table, desk, or podium. One child from each team will come up to answer a question. The child who hits the buzzer first gets to answer first. If they answer wrong, then the other child get a chance to answer. If neither child answers correctly, then no points are awarded to either team. If a child gets the question correct, then their team gets a point. When the game is over, congratulate the two teams, and ask each child to share what his or her favorite thing that he or she learned about aye- ayes was.
